Nicki Minaj slammed Gov. Kathy Hochul as an “evil woman” who should be dumped by the Democratic Party as she pushed for GOP hopeful Bruce Blakeman in Tuesday’s gubernatorial election.
“Kathy Hochul is an evil woman,” the Trinidadian Queens-raised rapper wrote on X Tuesday. “The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.”
Minaj, whose real name is Onika Maraj-Petty, targeted Hochul over previous viral comments where the Democrat claimed “black kids in the Bronx” were unaware of what computers are.
“HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU NEED TO SEE & HEAR FROM THEM?!! HOW DARE YOU AS BLACK PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIS VILE WICKED CURSE OF A WOMAN? HOW DARE YOU AS CHRISTIANS?! SHE STAYS SILENT ON HARM BEING CAUSED TO THE INNOCENT & THIS IS WHAT SHE THINKS OF YOUR CHILDREN! Vote BLAKEMAN!” Minaj shouted in a follow-up post.

Hochul made the offhand remark while speaking on stage at a forum during the Milken Institute Global Conference in May 2024.
“Right now we have, you know, young black kids growing up in the Bronx who don’t even know what the word computer is,” Hochul said. “They don’t know, they don’t know these things. And I want the world opened up to all of them.”
Blakeman torched Hochul earlier this month during their sole gubernatorial debate over the blabbering gaffe when the sitting governor accused the Nassau County executive of palling around with white supremacists.
“I never went around with white supremacists; I’m offended by that. Let’s talk about your record,” Blakeman said. “What did you see about black kids in the Bronx? You know what? That was reprehensible.”
Hochul, who holds a double-digit lead over Blakeman in the final week before the election, responded to Minaj’s social media blast as the rapper continues to campaign for Republicans and President Trump-backed candidates.
“She oughta get outside,” Hochul told reporters at a press conference Tuesday telling the rapper to “stop going to Trump rallies because it’s poisoning her.”
Minaj has become a vocal figure in recent months, garnering support for Republicans and even hitting the campaign trail with Trump.

The Gucci-clad “Super Bass” hitmaker is hitching a ride on Air Force One to a rally in Michigan on Sunday.
In September, Minaj urged young voters to “vote red” in the upcoming Midterm elections.
“Now is not the time to think that your voice will not be heard,” Minaj said during her appearance on “My View with Lara Trump.” “Your voice will not only be heard, but your voice is very necessary right now for the country and for the world. We need you guys involved.
“We need you guys involved more than ever before. This is your country, this is your world. You are the ones that have to reap the benefits of whatever vote decisions we make now.”
