More than a dozen anti-ICE protesters were hauled off in cuffs after they blocked Brooklyn Bridge traffic in broad daylight Wednesday, law enforcement sources said.
Video shows some of the demonstrators sitting cross-legged on the iconic span, chanting, “NYPD, KKK, ICE, they’re all the same!”
The crew of about 30 activists wore shirts emblazoned with the messages, “Have you seen my neighbor?” and “Sanctuary Campus Now.”

They also demanded the release of Oscar Belgal, an illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic with an alarming rap sheet who was shot and detained by ICE agents in the Bronx earlier this month.
The NYPD confirmed “multiple” people were taken into custody on or near the span, with sources confirming about 13.
At least one protester was carried away by cops into an awaiting NYPD cruiser, footage shows, while others went freely.
The charges they faced were not immediately known.
