Patriots rookie Quintayvious Hutchins was arraigned Wednesday morning in Newton District Court (Mass.) on charges of assault and battery on a family/household member, per court documents viewed by The Post.
The 23-year-old Hutchins, who signed his rookie deal with New England over the weekend, reportedly pleaded not guilty to the alleged incident, which happened Tuesday at a Boston College campus residence hall.
“Hutchins grabbed [Anilda] Goncalves by the neck forcefully and also pushed her with force,” the criminal case report said.

A witness told police that she saw Hutchins yelling at and pushing Goncalves, and that Hutchins accused Goncalves of cheating on him, per the report.
Hutchins told police that the dispute was about him bringing food to Goncalves.
“Hutchins said Goncalves didn’t appreciate the food he brought over so he left,” the police report said. “They met up about 45 minutes later and Hutchins asked for his belongings back. Hutchins said Goncalves made a scene and threw his belongings in the hallway and Hutchings threw Goncalves’ phone he was holding until he got his ring back.”
Hutchins was released from police custody on personal recognizance, a pretrial release without paying bail, according to masslive.com.
Goncalves did not want a restraining order or any other assistance, police said, adding that they did not notice any marks on her neck.

“We are aware of the report involving Quintayvious Hutchins,” the Patriots told masslive.com.
“We take these matters very seriously and are in the process of gathering additional information. We will not have further comment at this time.”
Hutchins left Saturday’s rookie camp practice with an undisclosed injury.
The Patriots selected him out of Boston College in seventh round of the 2026 NFL draft.
A team captain for the Eagles, Hutchins tallied 35 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and an interception across 10 games last season.
The Patriots are already dealing with the fallout from head coach Mike Vrabel’s personal life after Page Six broke the story and published photos on April 7 showing Vrabel and former NFL reporter Russini holding hands while at a resort in Arizona in March.
Both are married to other people and the Patriots backed Vrabel, while Russini resigned from her position at The Athletic on April 14 amid an internal investigation.
