Police rush to Kamala Harris’ $8M Malibu mansion over report of mystery woman on property

Police were called to Kamala Harris’ $8 million Malibu mansion after a mystery woman showed up at the property twice.

Officers from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene after receiving a call about the unidentified woman outside the former vice president’s home around 10:30 p.m. Friday, the sheriff’s department said.

The woman had gotten dropped off by an Uber and contacted security at Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff’s pricey pad, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s department said.

After being told she couldn’t be there, the woman left but returned again, leading police to be called.

Police took a report at the scene, but the woman was not arrested or cited. The incident was first reported by TMZ.

It’s unclear why the woman was there.

A Harris spokesperson told TMZ that neither the former vice president nor her husband was home at the time.

Security personnel “stopped an individual who illegally entered Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Emhoff’s property before the individual reached the home,” spokesperson Eduardo Negrón said.

“Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Emhoff were not present. They are grateful to the security and law enforcement personnel who responded swiftly,” he added.

Harris, unlike most top former American executive branch officials, does not have Secret Service protection. President Donald Trump revoked her Secret Service protection in August of last year.

Most former vice presidents get six months of protection after leaving office. Former President Joe Biden extended Harris’ protection by a year after her six-month protection period ended.

Harris bought her ritzy Malibu property in January of this year for a cool $8.15 million.

The four-bedroom, six-bath home sits on three-quarters of an acre and comes loaded with Malibu must-haves: a heated pool, in-ground spa, fire pit, gated entry, and postcard-perfect sight-lines of the Pacific.
