Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk issued an urgent and direct appeal to all Polish citizens in Iran: leave the country immediately.
In a press conference in Zielonka, near Warsaw, Tusk warned that the possibility of an armed conflict is “very, very real” and that, in “a few, a dozen, or several dozen hours,” evacuation could become impossible.
“Please leave immediately, everyone still in Iran,” Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Thursday.

“Please leave Iran immediately… and do not go to this country under any circumstances,” Tusk declared, emphasizing that no one will be able to guarantee safe exits if a “hot conflict” erupts.
The Polish prime minister insisted that he does not seek to generate panic, but recalled past experiences where similar warnings were ignored, and urged taking the message seriously.
This alert comes amid an escalation of tensions in the Middle East. Hours earlier, reports indicated that the United States may be closer to military action against Iran, following hints from President Donald Trump about “very tough” measures if there is no nuclear agreement.
The U.S. military deployment in the region, including aircraft carriers and planes, has raised global alarms. Tusk did not detail specific intelligence sources, but his intervention is unusual due to its direct tone and timing.
This is the second time in recent months that Poland has issued a similar warning about Iran, reflecting growing European concern over a possible confrontation involving Western powers and Israel.
We will continue to report on any developments in this crisis, including possible responses from other European governments or progress in nuclear negotiations with Iran.
