
During Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, a masked man interrupted the show by unfurling a Palestinian flag with the words “Sudan” and “Gaza” written on it.
The individual stood atop a black Grand National car on stage, waving the flag for approximately 45 seconds before being noticed by security.

Security personnel promptly tackled and removed the individual from the field. The halftime show continued without further interruption.
It is still unknown how he managed to access the stage area.

In the Super Bowl LIX game itself, the Philadelphia Eagles led the Kansas City Chiefs 34-6 during the third quarter.
