A burglar is being hunted by police after attempting a brazen lunchtime robbery on a Hollywood Hills home reportedly owned by filmmaking legend Quentin Tarantino.
The mystery man was spotted breaking into the second floor of the three-story home above Mulholland Drive on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
A gardener at the property reported seeing the suspect, described as a roughly 35-year-old man wearing long black sleeves and black pants.

By the time police arrived, the alleged burglar had already fled.
Officers searched the home but couldn’t find him.
It’s still unclear whether the intruder got away with any loot, or whether anyone was inside the mansion when the attempted break-in happened.
Initial reports identified the residence as potentially belonging to Tarantino, but that has not been confirmed.
