Russell Wilson just cost his team the game with the Steelers falling to the division-rival Ravens 34-17 on Saturday.

Wilson started off strong for Pittsburgh, leading a 6-for-6 drive for 63 yards and a touchdown pass to TE MyCole Pruitt to tie the game at seven a-piece at the start of the second quarter.

Everything for the Steelers went downhill from here, however, starting with a fumble in the red zone.

Wilson took off from the Ravens 23-yard line untouched until taking a hard hit from safety Ar’Darius Washington, losing the ball on the 5-yard line before being recovered by Baltimore LB Kyle Van Noy.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens marched down the field following the turnover, capping off the 96-yard drive with a touchdown pass to WR Rashod Bateman, putting Baltimore up a touchdown midway through the second quarter.

Both kickers traded field goals late in the first half, making the score 17-10 going into halftime.

Pittsburgh tied the game at 17 in the third following three big time passes from Wilson, including a 44-yard completion to Calvin Austin.

After going down a touchdown to end the third, the Steelers showed some fight opening up the fourth with a huge interception on their own 8-yard line.

Just two plays later, Wilson handed the ball right back, throwing a pass that was picked off by Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey.

Humphrey returned the interception for a 37-yard Pick 6, putting Baltimore up 31-17 in the fourth quarter.

With just 13:06 remaining, the Steelers were unable to stage any kind of comeback, with the Ravens eating six minutes of the clock before kicking a field goal, putting them up 34-17.

If not for Wilson’s two costly turnovers, it is likely that Pittsburgh sees a different outcome for this matchup.

The Steelers and Ravens now both hold a 10-5 record going into Week 17.
