Sam Rosen got to deliver one of his signature calls from among the Rangers faithful.
The longtime voice of the Blueshirts, who retired from broadcasting after last season, was on hand at loanDepot Park for the Rangers’ “Winter Classic” game against the Panthers on Friday night.
The Rangers destroyed the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, 5-1, including two power-play goals.
A Rangers season ticket holder in the stands captured Rosen celebrating one of the scores with a section of fans while giving them one of his signature calls: “It’s a power play goal!”
He added an enthusiastic fist pump for an exclamation point on the moment.

The goal was most likely Artemi Panarin’s strike with 12:25 left in the game to put the Blueshirts up, 4-1, based on the time the video was posted.
Rosen, sitting in a luxury box, appeared to be having as much fun as the rest of the fans cheering on their team during a rare moment of joy in a season filled with struggle.
They are six points behind the Metro Division-leading Hurricanes with their 20-18-5 record, having struggled to score at times and not playing well at home under first-year head coach Mike Sullivan.

Rosen, 78, is a lifelong Rangers fan and spent 40 years as the voice of the Rangers.
He first called Rangers games with MSG in the 1977-78 season as the backup to Marv Albert on radio and Jim Gordon on TV, before taking over the television booth full-time in the 1984-85 season.
He and Rangers fans were treated to quite the win Friday as Mika Zibanejad recorded a hat trick while also dishing out two assists for a five-point night.
The Rangers improved to 6-0-0 in outdoor games.
