Garrick Merrifield, the polygamous star of reality show “Seeking Sister Wife,” has been arrested for domestic violence — just over a week after announcing the birth of his daughter with his new wife, according to a report.

Merrifield, who has two wives and four children, was arrested Monday in Chaffee County, Colorado but has since bonded out of jail, TMZ reported.

He was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and intentionally obstructing telephone service, according to online records obtained by the outlet. Details of what happened were not immediately clear.

Garrick Merrifield married his new Brazilian “sister wife,” Lorrana, in October last year, which was documented on the sixth season of the TLC reality series.

The family announced just last week that they had welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sarah, in July.

Merrifield has three other older children with his first wife Danielle, whom he divorced years ago so he could pursue more wives — while also remaining in a plural relationship with her.
