Sharon Osbourne is paying tribute to her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, on what would have been their 46th wedding anniversary.

On Saturday, the 73-year-old took to social media to share a heartfelt message to the Black Sabbath frontman, who died at the age of 76 on July 22, 2025.

“Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary,” Sharon wrote alongside an intimate photo of the couple holding hands. “Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart.”

She received an outpouring of love in the comments.

“I am sending you all my love Mrs. O,” Nicole Scherzinger wrote.

“Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba wrote, “Sending you so much love. I have this digital photo frame that chooses photos and videos randomly from my feed and it often chooses photos from Ozzy’s birthday. And I have this one photo of you two holding hands and it always reminds me of the most beautiful love. An eternally beautiful love.”

“Sending you all the love Mrs. All of it,” Amanda Kloots commented, while Carmen Electra wrote, “I love u so much.”

The couple met in the early 1970s, and after Ozzy left Black Sabbath in 1979, Sharon became his manager and helped launch his successful solo career.

They married in Maui, Hawaii, on July 4, 1982, and had three children together: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Over more than four decades of marriage, they faced many challenges, including addiction, health setbacks, and periods of personal turmoil, but remained committed to one another through it all.

Their relationship dynamic became widely known through MTV’s “The Osbournes,” which showcased their family life and Sharon’s unwavering support for Ozzy until his death.

“Today feels different,” Kelly wrote on Instagram on July 4. “A day that was once filled with celebration now carries a quiet ache. This is your first wedding anniversary without Daddy by your side, and I can only imagine how heavy your heart must feel. There are some dates that remind us just how deeply we have loved, and today is one of them.”

“I hope you know that love like yours doesn’t end when a life does,” Kelly continued. “It changes shape. It becomes the warmth of the sun on your face when you need comfort, the memories that make you smile through tears, the quiet moments when you somehow know he’s near. Daddy may no longer walk beside you, but he will never stop walking with you.”

“I know he would want you to see yourself through his eyes: resilient, compassionate, courageous, and endlessly loving,” she added. “Every day since he left, you’ve had to learn how to carry both grief and hope in the same heart, and somehow, you’ve continued to do it with extraordinary grace. He would be so incredibly proud of the woman you are becoming.”

According to the Daily Mail, Ozzy desired to be buried near a lake on his 250-acre property.

During a private memorial, a huge floral tribute on the grounds of the mansion spelled out, “OZZY F—ING OSBOURNE,” on the banks of the Osbournes’ lake.

In a “Dear Ozzy” column for The Times in 2011, Osbourne shared his wishes for what he hoped his future funeral would be like after a fan asked if it was “too morbid to plan your own funeral? Or is it a thoughtful gift for your surviving relatives?”

“I honestly don’t care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes ’em happy,” Osbourne wrote. “But I do want to make sure it’s a celebration, not a mope-fest.”

“I’d also like some pranks: maybe the sound of knocking inside the coffin; or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of ‘death,’” he continued. “There’ll be no harping on the bad times.”

“So to answer your question, yes, a bit of planning is the right thing to do for the family you leave behind,” he said. “It’s worth remembering that a lot of people see nothing but misery their whole lives. So by any measure, most of us in this country – especially rock stars like me – are very lucky.”

“That’s why I don’t want my funeral to be sad. I want it to be a time to say ‘thanks.’”
