RALEIGH, NC — Evangelical churchgoers in the Raleigh area have begun to notice that there is a sorry excuse for a church in town that only has one service. This has led to many people in the area pointing and laughing at Living Word Baptist Church as they drive by saying, “Look at that sorry excuse for a church. Their sign says they only have one service. Hahahaha.”
Living Word Baptist Church advertises on their church sign that their one service begins at 9:30AM and there is no indication that any other identical services precede or follow it, unlike every other normal and successful church.
Pastor Bryan Jackson defends the lame excuse of a church by saying that he is simply trying to be a faithful shepherd at Living Word, focusing on the preaching of the Bible and worshiping Jesus Christ in spirit and truth.
“We just try to focus on Jesus and let the Holy Scriptures speak into our lives as we seek to serve him in every area of life,” said Pastor Bryan. “It’s great that other churches are overflowing with people so they need to divide up the congregation into multiple services to accommodate everyone, but we would appreciate it if they didn’t drive by our church and yell out ‘Haha LOSERS,’ as we have found out that it is very hurtful.”
At publishing time, the lousy, so-called church had been discovered to not even have a coffee ministry.
