Team Trump responded to Joe Biden’s decision to commute the sentences of nearly all prisoners on federal death row including child rapists and killers.
Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 37 out of 40 federal death row inmates after pressure from more than 130 human and ‘civil rights’ groups.
This is after Biden commuted the sentences of 1,500 people and pardoned 39 others – the biggest single-day act of clemency in history, the AP reported.
Biden also pardoned his son, Hunter, who was convicted of felony gun crimes after he promised he would respect the jury’s verdict.
President Trump promised to accelerate federal executions so Joe Biden commuted their sentences in an effort to derail Trump’s plans.
Trump’s DOJ signed off on 13 federal executions during Trump’s first term.
The 40 inmates on death row have been convicted of heinous crimes and gruesome murders.
Among those who will no longer face the death penalty is a monster who raped two little girls before stabbing them to death.
Jorge Avila-Torrez: In 2005, Avila-Torrez sexually assaulted two little girls, Laura Hobbs, 8, and Krystal Tobias, 9 before stabbing them both to death. Avila-Torrez also strangled naval officer Amanda Snell, 20, to death inside her barracks in Virginia.
Biden also commuted the sentences of two monsters who killed an entire family in Florida, including two young children.
Trump’s spokesperson Steven Cheung said Biden’s decision to commute the death sentences of some of the worst killers right before Christmas is a huge ‘slap in the face’ to the victims.
“These are among the worst killers in the world and this abhorrent decision by Joe Biden is a slap in the face to the victims, their families, and their loved ones. President Trump stands for the rule of law, which will return when he is back in the White House after he was elected with a massive mandate from the American people,” Steven Cheung said in a statement.
