The teenage driver who was killed along with two friends in a fiery Cybertruck crash in California last year tested positive for cocaine and had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit, according to a report.
Soren Dixon, 19, Jack Nelson, 20, and Krysta Tsukahara, 19, all died in the wreck on Nov. 27 while heading home from a party near their Piedmont homes.
Another passenger, Jordan Miller, 20, survived the crash but suffered serious burns.
Autopsy and toxicology reports reveal that Dixon, the driver of the Tesla truck, had a BAC of 0.195% — more than twice the legal limit for drivers of .08%, according to documents from the Alameda County Coroner’s Office reviewed by USA Today.
Dixon, who attended the University of Southern California where he played lacrosse, also had cocaine in his system at the time of the fatal accident, according to the documents.
The three victims and one survivor all attended Piedmont High School and were back home from college for the Thanksgiving break.
While returning home from a party at 3 a.m. on Thanksgiving Eve, the Cybertruck jumped a curb and slammed directly into a tree and then a retaining wall and burst into flames, according to the Piedmont Police Department.
When first responders arrived on the scene, the flames were twice as high as the car itself.
California Highway Patrol initially seized the Cybertruck and planned on testing it for mechanical malfunctions.
The electric SUV was fully burned as a result of the accident, USA Today reported.
