Theo Von is shutting down concerns raised by Joe Rogan about his mental health and alleged thoughts of suicide.
The comedian responded after Rogan used an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” to discuss worries about Von’s recent behavior, including comments tied to suicide and his use of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors, commonly known as SSRIs.
“This is mostly cap. Sad to see this kinda stuff,” Von said in response to the remarks. “I’m doing great. Im a human being which is a rocky ride. But I’m doing fine thanks.”
Rogan, a longtime friend and frequent collaborator of Von, said during the podcast that some of the comedian’s actions since starting SSRIs “freaks me out,” particularly comments involving suicide.

Rogan also brought up a Netflix taping involving Von that he claimed “didn’t go well … they never used it.”
According to Rogan, he heard Von “bombed” during the performance and at one point told the audience, “I’m trying not to take my own life.”
The podcast host added that Von has experienced periods where he spirals into discussions about “world events.”
Rogan also questioned the idea of chemical imbalances tied to mental health, saying, “Here is the thing about that chemical imbalance thing, that’s not real.”
