The dim-witted, holiday-hating communist who had emerged as one of new ‘stars’ of the Democratic Party has lost her primary in a stunning upset to a largely unknown establishment opponent following a late drop and chaos in Wisconsin’s largest city.
As CNN reported, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley narrowly defeated 37-year-old state assemblywoman Francesca Hong, who almost everyone assumed was going face Wisconsin GOP nominee Tom Tiffany in the general election.
The latest results show Crowley holding roughly a three thousand vote lead, less than half a percentage of the vote.

Crowley was backed by the entire Democratic establishment, including outgoing Wisconsin governor Tony Evers, who feared a hong nomination would mean a disastrous defeat in November.
Just hours before the race was called, the city of Milwaukee announced that 5 of the 9 USBs were ‘missing’ election results and results would be delayed.
This affected roughly 15,000 absentee ballots.
Officials blamed ‘human error’ for the fiasco.

Officials claimed that Milwaukee workers accidentally put audit data instead of actual vote for the absentee ballots.
Of course, this happened right in Crowley’s backyard as he and Hong were neck and neck in the results.
Local conservatives immediately smelled a rat.
The fix is in. The city of Milwaukee is holding off releasing its’ votes. There are only 1000 votes left in Dane County. Milwaukee still not reported. Milwaukee won’t be reported until there’s nothing left.
Isn’t it weird that Milwaukee is always last? If I were a conspiracy…

Then, at roughly 2:20 A.M, the results were posted. And not surprisingly, Crowley benefited.

Francesca Hong, who would have lost to the GOP in November, defeated by 4k ballots
How convenient…

This also occurred shortly after Hong’s home base of Madison had basically exhausted its votes and Hong was closing the gap with Milwaukee ballots.

The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft previously reported that Hong was struggling mightily as the results came in last night.
The race had seemed a total lock for Hong as multiple polls showed her with a large double digit lead, some by more than 20 points.
But as we have seen this election cycle and many prior, polls do no mean squat. Only the final result after the counting of votes does.
This brings an end to wild race saw two of the more prominent Democratic rivals’ campaigns collapse.
As CNN notes, Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez dropped her bid after being hit with a major campaign finance scandal, and former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes ended his bid on July 30.
Then, the Wisconsin Demcratic establishment came back and begged Crowley, who dropped out in early July, to re-enter the race.
He quickly acceded to their demands, and now reaps the reward.
