President Trump will deliver remarks across Texas today during midterm rallies for Republican Attorney General and Senate Nominee Ken Paxton.
Trump will deliver remarks first in Corpus Christi, then in Lubbock, Texas.
Ahead of his speech, Trump blasted Texas Democratic Senate Nominee James “TalaFREAKO”
Get rid of the guns, get rid of the Oil, get rid of the meat, but Transgender Mutilization of your Children and Open Borders are OK. This is what TalaFREAKO stands for, and this is where he is going to help take Texas if he wins — which he won’t. Ken Paxton is the Greatest Attorney General in Texas History. He deserves to be your Senator! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Trump also spoke to reporters ahead of his departure, previewing his two stops and highlighting new economic numbers showing consumer confidence rising nearly 10 points. “It’s up at a record number, a record increase, 7.5%… You don’t see that happen very often, not to that extent.”
Trump further slammed Talarico, praised Ken Paxton as “one of the best in the country,” and highlighted the massive crowds waiting in Texas.
“The other guy does not stand for Texas values. Nothing, nothing. Get rid of the oil, get rid of the guns, and get rid of the meat. Between the three things, it’s ridiculous,” he said.
When asked about Talarico’s competing event in Lubbock tonight, Trump said, “Well, he’s gonna get swamped because we have thousands and thousands of people.”
“You know, a midterm is usually not that exciting. This has become very exciting, and the crowds are incredible,” Trump added.
