President Trump on Monday made a surprise announcement from the Oval Office.
The President took questions from reporters amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.
Trump had McDonald’s delivered to the Oval Office amid his surprise remarks.

President Trump vowed to never allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
“Iran will not have a nuclear weapon, and we’re going to get the dust back. We’ll get it back. We’ll get it back from them, or we’ll take it,” Trump said.
President Trump addressed the US Naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
“We’ve been called this morning by the right people, the appropriate people, and they want to work a deal. They would like to work a deal,” Trump told reporters.
The reporter asked Trump if other countries will assist in the blockade.
“Yeah, other countries are going to also. We don’t need other countries, frankly, but they’ve offered the services. We’ll let it be known probably tomorrow,” Trump said.
Trump defended his Truth Social post criticizing Pope Leo.
“I think he’s very weak on crime and other things,” Trump said.
“You could not have a nuclear Iran. And Pope Leo would not be happy with the end result. You have hundreds of millions of people dead,” Trump said.
The president also warned Iran to strike a deal or else.
“It won’t be pleasant for them. Let me put it that way,” Trump said.
