Chicks aren’t the only ones who dig the long ball.
On Monday, July 13, baseball fans of all stripes will come from far and wide to celebrate taters, salamis, four-baggers, round-trippers at the 2026 MLB Home Run Derby at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park.
If you’d like to be there, last-minute tickets for the dinger parade are still available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $493 including fees on SeatGeek.

As of now, only six of the eight participants at this year’s Derby. They include:

Philadelphia Phillies
.264, 20 home runs, 57 RBIs
Ben Rice
New York Yankees

Willson Contreras
Boston Red Sox

Junior Caminero
Tampa Bay Rays
.278, 26 home runs, 56 RBIs
Jordan Walker
St. Louis Cardinals
.294, 21 home runs, 70 RBIs
Jac Caglianone
Kansas City Royals
.257, 14 home runs, 34 RBIs
While we don’t know who the last two sluggers will be to make the cut, MLB home run leader — and hometown hero — Kyle Schwarber and Colorado Rockies All-Star Hunter Goodman.
Astros triple crown contender Yordan Álvarez said he won’t participate “this year” to The Athletic.
Most importantly though, the moonshot contest is good, clean fun.
“The Home Run Derby is the best night of the baseball season,” Fox Sports wrote in 2021.
“If you ever get the chance to go, you have to. It’s the best. There’s no lull the whole night..the energy in the ballpark is pure baseball joy. And actually, unless you’re 7 feet tall and really want to fight for a baseball, I recommend sitting in the upper deck behind home plate instead of the outfield. The view from that angle is absolutely spectacular. You get to watch the line drives whizz and the moonshots float.”
