Drake Maye’s biggest supporter is keeping up with the comments flooding her immensely popular TikTok page — including the mentions centered on a former Patriots WAG.
When chatting with Dave Portnoy behind the scenes of her new program, “Beyond Bakemas,” Ann Michael Maye was asked if she reads comments left by fans entranced with her “Bakemas” series, with the Barstool Sports founder noting that some are “taking shots” at Gisele Bündchen, the ex-wife of Patriots great Tom Brady.
“Yeah, it’s always, ‘Gisele could never,’ ‘Gisele would never,’” Mrs. Maye responded in a recently shared clip from NBC Sports Boston. “She’s pretty good, guys, it’s okay.”
Bündchen, 45, supported Brady, 48, during the future Hall of Famer’s prolific era in New England, where he won six Super Bowls across 20 seasons before taking his talents to Tampa Bay in 2020.
The quarterback won his final championship in February 2021, a year before he and Bündchen divorced after 13 years of marriage. She has since remarried, tying the knot with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
The Patriots also charted a new path post-Brady, selecting Maye, 23, with the third overall pick out of North Carolina in 2024.
New England went from worst to first following Maye’s 4-13 rookie season, with the quarterback tossing 31 touchdowns against eight interceptions in his first year under coach Mike Vrabel.
As the Patriots’ stock skyrocketed in 2025, so did Maye’s and Ann Michael’s popularity, with the quarterback’s wife becoming the darling of the internet in December with her holiday “Bakemas” series.
The Patriots kept the good vibes rolling Sunday in Maye’s playoff debut, with the team knocking off the Chargers at home in a 16-3 wild-card victory.
New England, the No. 2 seed in the AFC, will host the winner of Monday’s Steelers-Texans matchup in the divisional round next weekend.
