The belief in the building is that the front office did enough this offseason to assemble a representative group, adding Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin III, re-signing Isaiah Hodgins and returning Darius Slayton to offset the loss of Wan’Dale Robinson.

Of course, this plan only works if Malik Nabers returns to form after ACL surgery.

Could the Giants use a high draft pick on a receiver? Sure. Will it be at No. 5? Possible, but unlikely.

Ohio State’s Carnell Tate and Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson — if he checks out medically — would be tough to pass up, but they are not Nabers-caliber prospects.
