It’s the last week of the 2026 NFL preseason and tonight, the NFL returns to Prime Video for the first time this season for some Thursday Night Football.
Tonight’s matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the reigning AFC champion New England Patriots will serve as the last chance to players on the bubble to prove they belong on their teams’ official roster when they are finalized.
Neither team will play their starters tonight, Browns head coach Todd Monken confirmed ahead of the game.

“I talked to Coach [Mike] Vrabel. We had talked about initially wanting to play our starters and get them a series or two,” he said. “They really hadn’t played their guys. But we both felt like we were thin, especially up front on both sides of the ball, and we just felt like we’d be better off not playing our starters in the game Thursday night.”
Tommy DeVito is expected to start at QB for New England, while Dillon Gabriel and Taylen Green will share QB duties for Cleveland.
