WWE didn’t help anyone with the finish to the match between Nattie and Maxxine Dupri Monday night.

The booking during the Triple H era has been consistently logical, almost completely void of some of the head-scratching decisions and directions we saw late in Vince McMahon’s tenure.

The idea of Nattie, whose new persona needs to get over as an absolute killer with a mean streak straight out of the Hart Dungeon, winning by referee stoppage isn’t itself a bad idea. It was how they got there that left me scratching my head.

Dupri goes after Nattie, who is leaning up against the barricade. There, the former SmackDown women’s champion two-foot shoves Dupri, who was dominating the opening minute of the match, toward the ring post.
