WrestleMania season needs to begin early.
It really is the only thing WWE can do with its WarGames matches at Survivor Series (7 p.m./ ESPN Unlimited) on Saturday.
Both matches are star-studded and would be far more interesting if Seth Rollins were healthy, but this isn’t WCW vs. nWo, The Four Horseman vs. Team Dusty Rhodes or even The Bloodline vs. Team Kevin Owens just a few years ago. There is literally nothing at stake collectively in the matches at Petco Park.
Individually, it is a much different story, especially after Roman Reigns planted the first true WrestleMania seed Monday on Raw. The Tribal Chief casually dropped that either CM Punk or Cody Rhodes’s world championship would look better on him without mentioning which one he was actually speaking of.
