Assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have skyrocketed 1,150% so far this year compared to the last year of the Biden administration — with nearly 250 attacks recorded since President Trump took office.
The disturbing surge comes amid a climate of heightened danger for immigration authorities, including stalking, death threats, online doxxing and outright assaults, which the Department of Homeland Security says is being encouraged by lefty politicians opposed to Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown.

“After months of Democrat politicians comparing ICE to Nazis, the gestapo, slave patrols, and even encouraging illegal aliens to resist arrest, our brave ICE law enforcement have been assaulted 238 times,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
“Our law enforcement officers have had Molotov cocktails and rocks thrown at them, been shot at, had cars used as weapons against them, and been physically assaulted. Sanctuary politicians need to tone the rhetoric down before a law enforcement officer is killed,” she warned.
Between Jan. 21 and Nov. 21 of last year, when Biden was in office, just 19 assaults were reported against ICE agents. In the same timeframe this year, an eye-popping 238 assaults have been recorded.
Agents have faced everything from being hit, spat upon, kicked and bitten during arrests, all the way up to vehicle ramming, open gunfire and the hurling of Molotov cocktails, DHS says.

Some of the attacks have had deadly consequences.
In September, a deranged gunman who scrawled “ANTI ICE” on his ammo opened fire on agents at an ICE facility in Dallas, killing one migrant and wounding two others.
The same facility was targeted with a bomb threat in August when a man entered the building claiming to have a bomb in his backpack and brandishing what he said was a detonation device on his wrist.
On July 4, a group of 10 activists wearing black “military-style” clothing started shooting off fireworks at an ICE processing center about 35 miles south of Dallas.
When a police officer arrived at the scene, a member of the group positioned in a nearby stand of woods shot the officer in the neck, while another fired “20-30 rounds” at unarmed correctional officers at the scene.
