A crazed gunman wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying an assault rifle opened fire inside a swanky Midtown skyscraper that houses the Blackstone and NFL Monday — leaving one cop in serious condition during a shootout, sources said.
The man entered the building armed with a rifle, law enforcement sources told The Post.
He barricaded himself inside, possibly on the 32nd floor.
At least one police officer was shot at the scene and is in critical condition. Another civilian was shot and is also in critical condition, police said.
An emergency medical unit is en route to the 44th floor of the building.
