Bumbling ice cream burglar faceplants in soft serve — then weirdly mops up mess: video

Goofy video shows a sweet-toothed burglar who broke into a Southern California ice cream slipping in soft serve and falling flat on his back — before he kindly mops up the mess,

The Rocky Road-brained man doesn’t take any cash but only seems interested in getting a few scoops when he broke into Mr. Frostie’s in Pacific Beach around 1:20 a.m. Sunday, according to a video posted to the shop’s social media.

The man, dressed casually in a turquoise shirt and khaki pants, takes a violent spill on the ground — ending up covered in toppings and ice cream, the video shows.

He stands up, visibly annoyed, and is seen wiping off the ice cream from his clothes. He then grabs a towel and starts a sad attempt to clean up the slipping hazard on the floor, the video shows.

Then he grabs a cone and whips himself up a snack, the video shows.

The ice cream shop showed some good humor about the robbery.

“Frostys is just THAT good,” they posted on social media.

“Anyone know this doofas [sic] who broke a window and almost paralyzed himself for some soft serve?

“The good news is that’s cherry dip and not blood. Thanks for trying to clean up, pal!” the shop added.
