A dead body was found inside a transport van outside the upstate New Horizons center, a residential facility for the developmentally disabled, New York State police said Tuesday.

The gristly discovery was made around 2 p.m. Monday, when troopers from the Rhinebeck barracks were sent to the residential facility, where the 26-year-old man was found in a van parked outside, police said in a press release.

Cops have not revealed the cause of death nor have they identified the man, who was reportedly a resident of the update treatment facility.
