Democratic Rep. Susie Lee of Nevada reacted poorly to President Donald Trump’s attendance at the Supreme Court.

Wednesday on the social media platform X, in response to an Associated Press story about Trump personally attending oral arguments over birthright citizenship in front of SCOTUS, Lee posted the sort of vulgar response one might hear in a locker room but should applaud nowhere.

“So f***ing f***ed up,” Lee wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I’ll pray they f*** him to his face. Sorry I say f*** a lot these days.”

WARNING: the following post contains vulgar language that some may find offensive.

In a now deleted post, Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV) said of President Trump going to SCOTUS this morning:

Steve Guest, former communications adviser to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, questioned whether Lee even has control of her own social media account.

“Either Democrat Rep. Susie Lee was blackout drunk when she tweeted this or it was a staffer posting from her account: She now deleted this INSANE tweet,” Guest wrote.

The congresswoman, however, confirmed the vulgar words as her own.

“Clearly my language touched a nerve — my nerve was touched by the attacks on our Constitution and its separation of powers. I took an oath to protect and defend it,” Lee wrote.

Of course, Lee’s decision to delete the post suggests a degree of shame.

Moreover, the vast majority of X users rejected her argument that Trump’s visit to SCOTUS threatens the separation of powers.

There is not an attack on our Constitution. You did not touch a nerve, you revealed your ignorance.

That’s almost hysterical! Fascist DemoKKKrats stomped all over the Constitution after Biden was installed! From lockdowns to censorship to a weaponized DOJ to lock up political opponents! pic.twitter.com/LDOZO8e7dj

Please explain in detail how Trump sitting in a room and listening to a discussion is an attack on the constitution.

As Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dillon explained Tuesday on X, SCOTUS does have a chair ready in case presidents wish to attend oral arguments.

There’s literally a chair set up at SCOTUS for our presidents to sit in for oral argument. Your separation of powers nonsense is more imitation pearl-clutching hauteur. https://t.co/unVfZPgD9v

According to Axios, Trump’s motorcade did indeed arrive at the court shortly before 10:00 a.m. EST. His arrival made him the first sitting president to attend oral arguments.

Shortly after taking office in January 2025, Trump signed an executive order aimed at curtailing birthright citizenship. The president argued that the Fourteenth Amendment’s guarantee of birthright citizenship did not apply to children of illegal immigrants.

As for Lee’s vulgarity, members of both parties have had similar outbursts.
