Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman is sounding the alarm about Elon Musk, warning that the world’s richest man and Donald Trump superfan could doom Democrats in Pennsylvania and nationally.

“Musk is a concern,” Fetterman told The Post. “Not even just that he has endorsed [Trump], but the fact that now he’s becoming an active participant and showing up and doing rallies and things like that.

“I mean, [Musk] is incredibly successful, and, you know, I think some people would see him as, like, a Tony Stark,” Fetterman continued, referencing the iconic Marvel character. “Democrats, you know, kind of make light of it, or they make fun of him jumping up and down and things like that. And I would just say that they are doing that at our peril.”

Once a Trump skeptic, Musk went all in for the former president after Trump was nearly assassinated during a rally in Butler, PA in July. The tech mogul campaigned with Trump when he returned to Butler this month and held a chummy two-hour campaign phone call with him in August.

Musk — with a net worth of $247 billion — has also opened his wallet, ponying up at least $75 million into his pro-Trump SuperPAC, Federal Election Commission records revealed this week. The contribution makes him one of the largest individual donors in the 2024 presidential race.

Since coming to Washington, Fetterman has developed a reputation as a principled ragamuffin truth-teller – and occasional fan of fine dining.

He is a staunch voice against the progressive wing of his party — and insisted he was not panicking about 2024, but warned Democrats that Pennsylvania is “going to be ridiculously close.”

“Trump has a connection that’s undeniable. And anyone that spends any time across Pennsylvania can see that kind of devotion and that’s why it’s going to be very close,” Fetterman said, “Pennsylvania picks the president.”

Fetterman was one of the last man standing among top Democrats urging President Biden to stay in the race — and still thinks the president would have been competitive if he stayed in.

Musk has been joining rallies for the former president and often advocates for him publicly.

“I’d like to remind everybody that Biden is the only person that’s ever beaten Trump,” Fetterman said,

“It was a total blowtorch,” he added, recalling the fraught days before Biden stood down. “You had the Democratic side, you have the ongoing, right wing media, and then the celebrities got involved in it as well, too. And then the New York Times became the, ‘he’s got to go’ outlet throughout all that as well.”

The senator insists he’s all in for Harris now and has been campaigning for her in the redder parts of the Keystone State.

“Harris could not have run a better campaign than she has so far right now,” he said.
