Massive baseball-sized chunks of hail wreaked havoc in Kansas after a strong storm pummeled part of the state — shattering car windows and damaging homes.

The huge ice lumps — some four inches wide — rained down on Kansas City overnight Tuesday.

Shocked residents quickly snapped photos of the monster hail as they also compared the stones to tennis and golf balls.

Photos of the damage obtained by KSHB and Fox 4 also showed multiple vehicles with broken windows and roofs with tiles missing in the storm’s aftermath.

“It was bright and sunny out, and not even a cloud in the sky. While I was sitting in the drive-through, it just kind of rolled in,” one local, Christina Peek, told Fox 4.

“The hail started while I was in the drive-through, and then it was just a crazy mad dash to get home, and it was hitting my car, golf-ball size, and then it just got bigger and bigger to baseball size.”‘

Another resident, Mackenzie Vincent, said she found large holes in her car windows when she finally managed to inspect the damage.

“I came to look at the car and had the usual dents and stuff,” she said. “Then I got to the back, and it looked like a couple of baseballs had gone through the back windshield.”
