Former President Jimmy Carter will be laid to rest Thursday following a funeral service at Washington National Cathedral, where President Biden will deliver a eulogy.
World leaders and other notables — including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who just announced his resignation Monday; President-elect Donald Trump and Melania; former President Barack Obama; former President Bill Clinton, his Vice President Al Gore, and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton; and newly-pardoned first son Hunter Biden — have gathered to honor Carter, who died Dec. 29 at age 100.
