Pop singer JoJo Siwa shared her thoughts on her feud with “Full House” alum Candace Cameron Bure two years after it began.
It all started when Siwa posted on TikTok that she thought Bure was the “rudest” celebrity she ever met. The post went viral at the time, causing both parties to respond publicly. Bure called Siwa personally to talk it out.
Despite the two seemingly ending the conversation on good terms, Siwa said she wouldn’t consider having Bure as a guest on her podcast.
“To me, personally, the rudest celebrity I’d ever met was Candace Cameron. She wasn’t nice to me when I met her. That doesn’t mean she’s an awful rude person,” Siwa said during the newest episode of “JoJo Siwa Now.”
“That just means that she was the rudest that I ever met. Whatever. [I] flashed it quick, thought no one was going to ever see it,” the former reality star added, insisting she never meant for it to go viral like it did.
Siwa said at the time she posted about Bure, she had “no real beef” with the actress.
“But then I found out some things about Candace that I was like, wait this, this actually is pretty valid. And I found out some shady things that she has done and some shady organizations that she has worked with,” Siwa said.
She continued, “It goes back to wanting to stand up for my people but not wanting to create drama that doesn’t necessarily need to be there. But anyway, Candace and I talked about it. She was honestly pretty sweet to me about it. We talked publicly about it as well,” she said, adding that anyone who exaggerated their feud was “psycho.”

Siwa also mentioned how the drama evolved after she criticized Bure for advocating traditional marriage and partnering with conservative-leaning organizations, including the Great American Family television network.
The singer chastised Bure for “basically calling gay marriage not traditional and gay marriage weird” and saying that same-sex marriage was something she “didn’t want to publicize.”
“Whether she meant to do that or not, she still did it, and it still stung the community. Of course, you know, we’re doing all this work to be more visible and out there for kids in the next generation to feel more normal,” Siwa said.
The 21-year-old “Dance Moms” alum ultimately called her original social media post “stupid and messy.” Siwa said while “there’s no real shade anymore” toward Bure, she still does not consider her a friend.
“I just wouldn’t have her on my podcast. You know what I mean… If I saw her, I would just not say hi,” the celeb concluded.
