Kanye West arrives to court to testify in case surrounding his $57 million Malibu mansion

Kanye West arrived to court Friday to testify in a trial surrounding the failed renovation of his former $57 million Malibu mansion.

West appeared emotionless as he arrived at Stanley Mosk Courthouse, dressed in a long black coat, black shirt, pants and black boots.

The trial, which has lasted more than a week, stems from a lawsuit brought on by handyman Tony Saxon. Saxon said he was brought on by West to complete the renovation, stripping the home of all electric, windows and plumbing.

Saxon says things went south with West quickly, and he later sued the rapper for over $1 million in 2023 for unpaid wages, unsafe working conditions, and wrongful termination.

West never lived in the Malibu pad, instead selling it for West’s orders, the rapper eventually sold the home for $21 million in 2024 at a massive loss.

Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori, testified in the case to a jury Thursday regarding her role in the renovation. For the most part, Censori told the jury she wasn’t involved in the project and didn’t have many direct dealings with Saxon.

However, she was also quizzed about an awkward moment that surfaced during the trial when a handyman testified that he had confused Kim Kardashian with Bianca when Kardashian visited the home during the renovations.

That line of questioning for Bianca was quickly and successfully objected to, and the judge struck it from the record.
