Machete-wielding maniac arrested for attacking Bronx straphanger

The maniac accused of attacking a straphanger with a machete on a Bronx subway train last month has been arrested over the vicious attack, police said.

Runadieo Jordan, 54, was busted Tuesday and hit with a slew of charges, including second-degree attempted murder, for the Aug. 31 assault aboard a northbound 2 train, according to cops.

Jordan was arguing with a 31-year-old man on the train around 1:15 a.m. when things turned violent.

Runadieo Jordan allegedly hurled homophobic insults at his victim before stabbing him.

The suspect pulled out a machete as the train pulled into the Allerton Avenue subway station and swung it at the fellow straphanger.

Jordan allegedly hit the victim several times, leaving him with wounds to his arm, hands and head, police said.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.

Jordan then fled the station and was on the lam until Tuesday.

He was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, and harassment.

This is not Jordan’s first brush with the law.

In fact, he’s accused of stabbing another man on a 2 train in June 2022.

In the earlier attack, Jordan was slapped with hate crime charges after he allegedly yelled homophobic slurs and knifed another 31-year-old victim in the arm as the train approached the 3rd Avenue-149th Street station in the Bronx.

Jordan started an argument because the man was playing music loudly on the train, according to a criminal complaint

“Turn your music down, you f–king f—-t,” Jordan allegedly yelled.

“What did you say to me?,” the victim replied.

That’s when Jordan pulled a sharp object and allegedly cut the man’s wrist, slicing several arteries, according to authorities.

That victim was forced to undergo two surgeries to repair the damage caused by the attack.

Jordan was arrested the following day in Manhattan on suspicion of heroin possession.

It is not clear how that case was resolved.
