A 39-year-old man was shot dead outside a Midtown Manhattan nightclub early Sunday morning, as police launched an urgent hunt for the killer.
The victim was hit in the back and groin as multiple shots were fired outside Harbor NYC Club on West 46th St., police said.
He was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he died from his wounds.

No suspect has been arrested, and cops are still searching for the gunman.
After the shooting, NYPD cops were seen examining the crime scene — apparently searching for evidence with flashlights — and setting up police tape outside on the street.
Police also spoke to a potential witness outside a 24-hour car wash on West 46th.

Stunned club-goers were leaving the rooftop venue, which closed around 4 a.m., when the shooting broke out.
“It shouldn’t be happening. It’s unnecessary,” Eli, who was leaving the club at the time, said.
“Why are people getting shot at nighttime, around the holidays, Thanksgiving’s around the corner, Christmas is around the corner. It’s a time to be joyful and be thankful for one another, and people wanna shoot one another. For what? What’s your purpose here?”
Another clubgoer, Tim, said they hadn’t seen trouble at the Hell’s Kitchen venue before.
“I feel like it’s a good spot, it’s just you get caught at the wrong spot, wrong time, you feel me?” he said outside the club.
