Trouble’s brewing in MAGA-dise.
Laura Loomer and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene [R-Ga.], two of Donald Trump’s loudest supporters and one-time allies, are in the midst of a raging public feud amid reports that Loomer has been a recent presence in the former president’s inner circle.
The two high-profile conservatives have denounced one another and have traded barbs on social media — with Greene also bluntly telling reporters Thursday that she doesn’t think Loomer has the “right mentality to advise a very important presidential election.”
Loomer reportedly joined Trump on a private plane to Philadelphia for Tuesday’s debate and offered him some last-minute advice before he sparred with Vice President Kamala Harris on national TV.
The far-right activist was “egging him on” to be aggressive and combative — despite advisers urging Trump to stick to discussing policies and voter issues like the economy, Axios reported.
His advisers warned, according to the report, to avoid letting Harris get under his skin with personal jabs.
But Trump appeared to have taken Loomer’s advice as he strayed off topic and got defensive when Harris mentioned his rallies, claiming attendees “leave early out of exhaustion and boredom.”
“People don’t leave my rallies, we have the biggest rallies, the most incredible rallies,” Trump shot back after being asked a question about border policy.
Greene took to X on Wednesday and started a mini MAGA civil war, when she suddenly slammed Loomer’s “extremely racist” post about Harris.
Loomer had posted on Sept. 8 that if Harris were to defeat Trump, “the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center and the American people will only be able to convey their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that nobody will understand.”
The Georgia congresswoman, who has herself been called out for being a “racist,” called Loomer out three days later, calling the post “appalling.”
“It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA,” Greene wrote.
“This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever,” she added, and demanded Loomer delete the post.
Loomer responded in a series of provocative tweets, calling her a “raging antisemite” who “believes that Jewish people use Space lasers to control the world.”
The conservative influencer also blasted Greene’s recent divorce, calling her a cheater, and for “behaving like a leftist” for roasting her over what she claimed to be a “funny joke” about Harris.
“You couldn’t even run your own family,” Loomer fired at the congresswoman. “Don’t tell me how to run my FREE SPEECH!”
“Laura and I used to be friends going back to 2018,” Greene retorted. “I used to defend her and support her.”
She claimed Loomer was upset because she refused campaign advice from Greene during her multiple failed bids for Congress in her home state of Florida.
The fighting continued on Thursday, where Greene told reporters outside of the Capitol that she was “completely denouncing” Loomer and her role with the Trump campaign.
“I don’t think she has the experience or the right mentality to advise a very important presidential election,” Greene said.
“Her rhetoric and her tone does not match the base, does not match MAGA and does not match most republicans I know,” she added.
Loomer responded on X, saying she “denounced” Greene two years ago. She claimed she “sold out” to former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy and “doesn’t speak for MAGA.”
“It’s an honor to be denounced by this disloyal woman who has accomplished nothing during her time in Congress,” Loomer wrote.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), also got caught in the crossfire.
Loomer attacked the senator on Thursday, claiming he has never been loyal to Trump and should stop giving him advice. She also jeered that he should “come out of the closet” and “We all know you’re Gay.”
Graham had called Trump’s debate “a missed opportunity” to attract more voters and hit home issues important to them. He also reportedly called the debate “a disaster.”
A Graham spokesperson told NBC News that “Ms. Loomer is a stain on society.”
“Sen. Graham shares Rep. Greene’s concerns about how this could affect the campaign and our country,” the spokesperson said.
