CHICAGO — Former first lady Michelle Obama will deliver remarks at the Democratic National Convention in her hometown of Chicago on Tuesday, The Post has confirmed.

Her speech will come the same day her husband former President Barack Obama addresses the crowd.

Democrats will flood the Windy City starting Monday until Thursday for their first in-person convention since 2016.

Ahead of the big week, which will culminate in Vice President Kamala Harris formally accepting her party’s nomination for president, the DNC unveiled its list of themes and top speakers for the four-day spectacle.

Dozens of other speakers are also expected as well but details have not yet been released to the public.

Here’s what we know so far about the star-studded week ahead:

Monday: ‘For the people’

The opening day of the convention will delve into President Biden’s legacy and tout the Harris-Walz campaigns’ efforts to help working people.

Speakers will include Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, who will deliver a welcome message, Biden, first lady Jill Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Tuesday: ‘A bold vision for America’s future’

Day 2 of the convention will focus on the sharp contrast between Harris’ and former President Donald Trump’s respective visions for the country.

Speakers are set to include a welcome from Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D), second gentleman Doug Emhoff, and the two Obamas.

Tim Walz

Wednesday: ‘A fight for our freedoms’

Democrats have been eager to cast themselves as the defenders of freedom and will focus heavily on that messaging on Wednesday.

Speakers are set to include Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz and former President Bill Clinton.

Thursday: ‘For our future’

On the final day of the convention, Democrats will seek to present a forward-looking message.

Harris will deliver the marquee address of the night and formally accept the Democratic nomination, which she officially obtained in a virtual roll call vote earlier this month.

From Biden to Harris

Both Obamas took about five days to formally endorse Harris for the presidency after Biden bowed to pressure and dropped out of the race on July 21 over concerns about his mental acuity.

The former president has a reputation for keeping his powder dry on the endorsement front.

“I can’t have this phone call without saying to my girl Kamala: I am proud of you. This is going to be historic,” Michelle Obama told Harris in a recorded conversation between the duo released in an endorsement video.

Barack Obama and Harris were among top speakers at the 2020 DNC.
