More evacuation orders were put into place as the raging wildfire in Los Angeles, California, spread further Friday night and appeared to move towards Downtown Los Angeles.
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on the fires, which have killed at least five, and the state’s mismanagement of the crisis.
Due to Governor Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass’s failed leadership and radical leftist policies, which cut $17.6 million from the Fire Department’s budget a few months ago and reduced the city’s water supply available in fire hydrants, firetrucks are now using residential hoses to fill up their water tanks after hydrants run dry.
And it doesn’t help that the Los Angeles Fire Chief is a DEI lesbian who is more concerned about hiring more women and gays than ensuring public safety. Additionally, Californians face the threat of criminals looting their evacuated homes.
One local provided photos to The Gateway Pundit and said the blaze is burning east from the Mandeville Canyon area of Brentwood and “ironically, toward Kamala Harris’ Brentwood house.” Fox LA reported that the affluent area of Mandeville Canyon is an “area of concern.”
The resident expects the fire to “rip through Bel Air” if it makes it over the 405 freeway corridor.
“Los Angeles has been turned into hell,” they said.

At least eleven have died, but officials still do not know the actual number.
ABC 7 reported live updates on the fire Friday night, indicating that “it’s spreading now towards the valley” in the Encino area and highlighting the new mandatory and voluntary evacuations all the way up to Ventura Blvd.

The fire had burned more than 21,000 acres as of Friday night. KTLA 5 reported on the change in the fire’s smoke direction due to an incoming sea breeze, noting the first time the smoke had blown toward downtown Los Angeles. Firefighters are working nonstop to stop the fire’s spread.

At least ten different aircraft were trying to extinguish the fire last night as it made its way toward downtown and other residential neighborhoods, per Fox. Fox was joined by a Californian who was helping others evacuate.
