A New Jersey drone pilot claims his drone “spun out, lost power and the battery died” as he directed the craft toward one of the unnerving drones flying over the Garden State.

Michael B, the CEO and host of the “Terror Talk” podcast, decided to personally investigate the strange phenomenon to try to find some of the answers that the federal government has been unable to provide.

However, he said that as he flew his drone toward the mystery craft near the Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County, where there have been multiple sightings, his drone lost power because he entered flight space restricted by the Federal Aviation Administration.

His device received multiple warnings on screen as he piloted it.

“There was a drone just hanging out. I put my drone up in the air and went towards it,” he told FOX 5 New York. “I had full battery life. Not 3 minutes into the flight, I lost control of the drone.”

He insisted that while his drone went down due to the restricted flight space, the mystery drone he had been trying to reach retained its ability to fly.

Michael B told MSNBC that he also attempted to reach drones spotted near Morris County Airport this week and was again denied flight clearance in the area.

“None of the things we go after are on flight radar,” he pointed out.

He said he “absolutely” believes that the unidentified drones in the restricted airspace may possess new technology that allows them to bypass FAA security to keep them from being jammed.

The paranormal investigator is convinced that the drones are a government secret and “they’re playing stupid” in their apparent inability to provide any details as to the origin of the alarming aircraft.

“Either that or aliens,” he quipped with a smile.

The drone-chaser also revealed footage taken by his spotter drones in Hillsborough, New Jersey, of a big red dot flying in the sky near his New Jersey residence.

The FBI has received more than 5,000 reports of drones flying over the northeastern US since Nov. 18, some of which breached military airspace.

On Monday, the agency said about 100 of those reports warranted further investigation.

The Biden administration has faced mounting criticism from residents and lawmakers for downplaying the unusual sightings.

The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI announced Monday they are belatedly deploying drone detection technology and infrared cameras to determine what, if any, threat the unidentified flying objects pose.
