NJ cop who smashed in ex’s front door is seen ranting and cursing at cops who came to arrest her in new video: ‘I just f–king snapped’

A crazed New Jersey cop who bashed in her ex-boyfriend’s front door with a baton can be seen in a newly revealed video of her arrest admitting that she “f–king snapped” and telling officers that she would “burn your house down next.”

Former Toms River Police Officer Rebecca Sayegh, 32 — who was banned from law enforcement for life over the jealous rampage — lashed out at the cops who came to bust her during an unhinged, curse-filled rant in April, the new bodycam footage reveals.

“I just f–king snapped,” she can be first be heard saying in a phone conversation, according to the footage.

“He wants to sit here and have some random f–king bitch in here with all my belongings,”  Sayegh said, referring to her ex’s new girlfriend.

“[He’s] saying she’s gonna move in and shit — get the f–k out of here,” she raged.

When police ordered her to come with them, she refused — shouting, “No, we’re gonna go when I get all my s–t … Give me a second!”

“I’m calling my PBA officer,” she snapped, referring to her Police Benevolent Association union rep.

One of the cops then restrained her, prompting her to scream, “What the f–k are you doing?”

As police escorted her down the driveway of the Berkeley home, she shouted, “I’m gonna f–king burn your house down next, you piece of s–t!”

It wasn’t immediately clear from the footage if the off-duty cop was threatening her ex or the arresting officer — but police said at the time she vowed to burn down her former boyfriend’s home.

“At least my hair’s nice today,”  Sayegh can then be heard saying as police load her into a cop car —  apparently acknowledging that her wild attack will soon be public.

Sayegh pleaded guilty to the rampage in which she used her baton to smash through the front door of her ex-boyfriend’s home around 11:20 p.m. April 25. She then confronted him and his new girlfriend, who was also at the home, NJ.com reported.

Sayegh — who once shared the house with her ex-boyfriend of five years — got into an argument with the pair before shoving both of them.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office announced on Nov. 17 she has “forfeited all future public employment in the State of New Jersey.”
