Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who vanished from her South Carolina home over a month ago — fearing she may be in danger while in the company of a man she knows, according to authorities.
Deputies have been searching for Mackenzie Dalton since late November, when she left her home in Lexington, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office.
Dalton is believed to be traveling alongside a man she knows, cops said. Authorities have not yet released a physical description of him or any further details about him.
The car the teen drove away in and the suitcase she took from her home have been recovered, officials added, while she remains missing.
Dalton, who has blonde hair and blue eyes, was seen smiling in a photo released by police. She is 5’4” and weighs 118 pounds.
Cops have urged the public to come forward with any tips about the endangered teen’s disappearance.
