Sling shot-wielding psycho fired metal at LA officers during violent anti-ICE protest

A sling shot-wielding psycho was arrested for launching metal objects at Los Angeles police officers during a violent anti-ICE protest Friday evening.

The suspect, who was not identified in an X post from the LAPD, was one of at least five busted during the wild demonstration that saw agitators in a hostile standoff with federal officers outside the detention center in downtown LA.

Protesters also set fire to a dumpster and spraypainted “F–k ICE” along concrete barriers and the building.

At a press conference Friday night, Bass urged protesters to remain calm.

“The protests are extremely important, but the protests must be peaceful,” she said, hours after showing up in court for former CNN host Don Lemon, who was busted on federal charges for storming a Minnesota church earlier this month.

“Don’t be surprised if the military enters our city again. It is part of our rights to protest, but it is not our right to tear up the city or vandalize our city.”

LAPD shared video of the unrest and noted in a separate post that authorities deployed pepper balls and tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Most of the crowd covered their faces with masks or scarves, and some used gas masks.

“We had hoped that demonstrations today would be peaceful; however, as you can see in this video, the violent agitators invited LAPD due to their actions,” said the department.

The demonstrations are part of a “Nationwide Shutdown” that encouraged “No School. No Work. No Shopping” to bring attention to the Department of Homeland Security’s actions across the country.

LAPD Central Division provided live updates on social media as the crowd was forced away.

“Protestors are actively fighting with Officers after multiple dispersal orders were issued. Metropolitan Division is now on scene. Less than lethal has been authorized due to the violence against officers,” read one post on X.
