A 48-year-old man was slashed in the neck early Monday in the latest violence on a Big Apple subway.
The straphanger was slashed when an argument broke out on the northbound C train platform at 50th Street and 8th Avenue around 1:21 a.m., the NYPD said.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Photos showed police arresting a suspect — who had blood splashed over his sneakers — near 59th Street and Columbus Circle. Charges are pending, police said.

The arrest comes one day after the Guardian Angels announced they would return to patrolling Big Apple subway cars in the wake of the horrific murder of a woman who was set on fire while asleep on a Coney Island train last week.
