Tiger Woods often drives like a “bat out of hell” — but was not abusing “illegal drugs” when he got into yet another rollover crash, according to a former longtime employee of the fallen golf icon.

The famed athlete is notorious for speeding through his luxurious Florida enclave, the insider told the Daily Mail.

“The guy is a terrible driver … he drives like a bat out of hell very often on a road where lawn services are parked with heavy equipment,” the person told the outlet.

“I’ve been with him in the car going 55 or 60 mph, driving past cops who don’t seem to care.”

The crash prone 50-year-old was apparently driving with the same disregard Friday when he tried to swerve around a truck that was towing a small trailer along the narrow stretch of South Beach Road on Jupiter Island, which has a speed limit of 30 mph.

The truck driver attempted to pull over, but Woods clipped the back of the trailer, causing his SUV to roll over in the chaos, police said.

Cops said that Woods appeared “lethargic” and showed “signs of impairment” after he crawled out of his overturned SUV.

Woods was arrested, charged with driving under the influence and held at the Martin County jail for eight hours despite blowing triple zeroes on a Breathalyzer test.

But the insider told the Daily Mail that there was zero chance the gold legend was abusing “illegal drugs.”

“I know the guy, that’s just not what he does,” the source revealed.

Woods refused to provide cops with a urine sample because he has been taking heavy doses of prescription opioids for injuries he’s sustained from previous car wrecks, the insider continued.

“He has been on tons of pain medication for years.”

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek claimed Woods refused to comply with the urine test simply because he was not “trying to incriminate himself.”

Woods was also charged with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

This is his second DUI bust and his third public car accident.

The athlete was infamously arrested in 2017 after being found unconscious behind the wheel of his running car while high on a cocktail of prescription painkillers.

He took a plea deal for reckless driving and served a year of probation.
