Tim Sheehy, the decorated former U.S. Navy SEAL, has won the U.S. Senate race in Montana, according to Decision Desk HQ.
With 95% of the vote in, Sheehy defeated incumbent Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) 53.4% to 44.8%.
Tester faced an uphill battle to keep his Senate seat, which he’s held since 2007.
Sheehy challenged Tester on the border crisis that has exploded under the Biden-Harris administration.
