Underage twin boys who accused actor Timothy Busfield of sexual misconduct initially told investigators he didn’t touch them inappropriately, according to newly released audio.
The police audio obtained and published by TMZ features the 11-year-old child actors, known by the initials V.L and S.L, being interviewed by police in November 2024, according to the outlet.

The officer gently asks, “You know no one can touch your private areas?”
The boys respond by saying, “yes,” according to the audio.
The officer then asks if Busfield ever touches their private parts and the boys reply, “No.”
The audio was presented by Busfield’s attorney in a New Mexico court on Monday, calling it an “unequivocal denial” of their allegations of inappropriate touching, according to TMZ.
The audio was submitted to the court ahead of a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
It will determine if the “West Wing” actor will be released on bail pending trial.
According to a criminal complaint one of the boys confided in a therapist, saying Busfield touched his penis and bottom, the child’s mother said, according to TMZ.
Prosecutors said the audio showed the boys failing to “disclose” abuse, the outlet reported.
