A brazen Uber Eats worker delivering food snatched a purse filled with $10,000 cash that a Bronx woman had left sitting in her open apartment window after making an order, cops said Thursday.
The 27-year-old victim had requested that her 2:40 a.m., Sept. 13 purchase be placed through the window at an apartment building near Haviland and Olmstead Avenues in Union Port, cops said.
Instead, the suspect pulled up on a bicycle, went inside and left the grub at the woman’s apartment door, according to cops and video of the incident.
He then exited the location and spotted the purse sitting exposed in the window — and swiped it as he headed out, video shows.
The thief, dressed in a blue cap and a gray spotted sweat suit, then scurried off.
There was an estimated $10,000 in cash inside of the purse, cops said.
