Urgent Amber Alert issued for two abducted children in Los Angeles area

Police issued an urgent Amber Alert early Thursday morning for two missing children last seen in Santa Clarita.

Sofia Ordonez, 9, and Romeo Ordonez, 12, were last seen around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and are believed to be with Cristal Ordonez, 45, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The children went missing near the intersection of River Circle and Soledad Canyon Road.

Cristal is believed to be driving a black 2018 Kia Sorento with California license plate 8LRF237.

Officials did not say if the individuals were related.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
