The 40-year-old man behind the wheel of the black Dodge sedan that was struck was taken to Harlem Hospital, and later pronounced dead, authorities said.

His passenger, a 33-year-old man, was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian where he was also later pronounced dead.

The driver and the passenger of the pickup both ran off after the crash, cops said.

“The passenger was apprehended about 30 feet away from the pickup truck,” an NYPD spokesman said.

The passenger, who has not been publicly identified, was taken to Harlem Hospital with an ankle injury, according to police.

The victims have not yet been publicly identified, pending family notification.

The front half of the Dodge was completely crushed in the collision, according to photos of the damages.
